Hong Kong orchestral debut November 8; Masterclass November 6
Following a U.S. tour with the Dover Quartet, Edgar Meyer will make his Hong Kong orchestral debut on November 8 with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong. Held at the Hong Kong City Hall’s Concert Hall, the evening’s program will feature Bottesini’s Concerto No. 2 and Edgar’s own Concerto No. 1 for double bass.
Marco Boni conducts the evening’s performance, which will also hear Boccherini’s Sinfonia in D Minor, “La Casa del Diavolo,” and Schnittke’s Suite in Olden Style.
Two days prior, on November 6, Edgar will lead a public masterclass at the same venue.
