Edgar Meyer guests with South Carolina Philharmonic
Edgar Meyer hits the ground running in 2016 with a concert on January 9 at the Koger Center for the Arts. Guesting with the South Carolina Philharmonic, Edgar performs double duty as both composer and soloist for a performance of his Bass Concerto in D, paired with an encore of Bottesini’s Bass Concerto No. 2.
Conductor Morihiko Nakahara bookends the program with Kodály’s Dances of Galanta and Mozart’s Symphony No. 38, “Prague.”
