Chamber Music this Spring
This March, bassist Edgar Meyer heads joins Charles Lloyd, Mickey Hart, Béla Fleck and more for a concert celebrating Zakir Hussain, the legendary tabla virtuoso, composer, and cultural ambassador whose artistry bridged traditions and reimagined contemporary music.
The following week he teams up with son George Meyers head to Florida’s Davis Arts Center for their Bluegrass Music Series. Tables and tickets can be purchased here.
Finally, Meyer joins frequent collaborators The Dover Quartet for a concert with San Francisco Performances. In addition to Mozart and Mendelssohn, the program features 3 of the bassist’s own works: 2 Duets for Cello and Bass and Quintet for Strings.
