Edgar appears with Oregon Symphony
Next January, Edgar Meyer joins the Oregon Symphony to celebrate the sounds of Americana. Together, Edgar and the orchestra perform in Salem (Jan 18) and Portland (Jan 19).
Edgar brings to the stage Bottesini’s Double Bass Concerto No. 2 and his own Double Bass Concerto No. 3. Conducted by Norman Huynh, the concerts are anchored by Still’s Afro-American Symphony and Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite.
