Edgar returns to Aspen Music Festival this August
This August, Edgar Meyer returns to Colorado as part of the Aspen Music Festival and School’s summer season, the company announced earlier this week. The American bassist will be heard as both soloist and composer with the Aspen Chamber Symphony on August 8 when he performs his Double Bass Concerto in E, written in 2011.
Conducting the concert is Federico Cortese, who also leads the ensemble in Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with violinist Veronika Eberle. Click here for tickets.
