Double Dose of Double-Double Bass at Aspen Music Festival and School with Christian McBride
On August 20, Edgar Meyer and Christian McBride unite for an encore of their first performance together in Aspen from 2008. The duo offer original and traditional works at the rooftop space of the Aspen Art Museum as part of the JAS Café Series, and is presented by both the Aspen Music Festival and School and Jazz Aspen Snowmass.
Edgar and Christian perform twice on the evening of the 20th, with sets at 7:00 and 9:15. Tickets are available for $55 with special tickets that include admission to a post-concert reception for $100 following the 7:00pm set. Standing room passes are available for $25.
