Additional date announced for 2017 Bach Trios tour with Yo-Yo Ma and Chris Thile

Edgar Meyer’s spring 2017 tour with Yo-Yo Ma and Chris Thile, featuring reworked arrangements of Bach’s trios, has expanded with an additional date: The three will now also make a stop in Berkeley, CA on April 30, presented by Cal Performances.

The former Goat Rodeo Sessions collaborators will focus on their collective admiration for the legendary composer with a program that is set to include excerpts from The Art of Fugue as well as keyboard pieces and sonatas originally conceived for organ and viola da gamba.

Additional performances take place in Boston (April 21), Ann Arbor (April 22), Chicago (April 24), Nashville (April 26), Stanford (April 29), Santa Barbara (May 2), and Los Angeles (May 3).
